In the 2022 Hype Cycle for Emerging Tech by Gartner, NFTs ranked somewhere between the „peak of inflated expectations“ and „the trough of disillusion“. And yet, there´s a common understanding that web3 technology as well as “digital goods” are here to stay.

In order to be able to play a part in it´s development, we not only need to understand the underlying tech, but also where we come from in terms of success stories and fails.
